Vin Cipolla

President of the Municipal Arts Society, Vin Cipolla is a six-time corporate and founding CEO. He has served on over 25 non-profit and corporate boards throughout the country. Prior to his MAS post, Mr. Cipolla was the President and CEO of the National Park Foundation and continues to serve on the Foundation's Board as its citizen Chairman. Before joining the Foundation in 2005, he was a President and CEO with Fidelity Investments.
Mr. Cipolla's other civic leadership roles have included serving for nine years as the Board Chairman of the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. Now Chairman Emeritus, he was a Trustee for 16 years, spearheading the development of the new museum on Boston Harbor. Other board leadership has included the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University, the Orton Foundation, and Clark University. He was Vice Chairman of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and today also serves on the board of Ballet Hispanico.
Devoted to preservation, conservation and the arts, Mr. Cipolla was also the Executive Vice President of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and Publisher of Preservation magazine.
