Selby Bush

Selby Bush is a Government Relations Manager in Conventional and Exploration Corporate Affairs at BHP Billiton. Formerly, Ms. Bush was a Senior Government Affairs Representative with Williams, one of the nation's leading energy infrastructure companies. At Williams, Ms. Bush developed corporate state legislative and regulatory policy and executed lobbying activities in a territory that included 16 states from Texas to New England.

Ms. Bush began her career as a Field Representative for United States Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. where she focused on energy, military, and agricultural issues. She also worked as part of the Republican National Committee's Victory 2008 Campaign as a State Communications Director at the Republican Party of Arkansas.

Ms. Bush is a member of the Board of Directors for The Junior League of Houston, Inc. and is actively involved with Women in Energy, The Immunization Partnership and SEARCH Homeless Services. She served on the Board of Directors of the Tulsa Global Alliance from 2008-2009. Additionally, she was awarded the Arkansas Traveler Award by Governor Mike Beebe in 2008 in recognition of her commitment to community service.

Ms. Bush holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communications from Cameron University and a Master's Degree from The George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management.
